Are you an amateur photographer wanting to show off your skills? This Liberty Days is the perfect opportunity for you to do that, with a chance for you to win a fun prize! We are hosting our annual Liberty Days Photo Contest, but this year, there’s a bit of a twist. This years photo contest theme is, Liberty Days In Action. This year, we want to see what Liberty Days looks like, through YOUR lense! We want you to come to Liberty Days with your camera in tow, and find opportunities to photograph the special moments that make Liberty Days memorable to you. Is it a soldier wounded in the WWII skirmish reenactment? An educational moment from one of our inspiring speakers? An intriguing display? It’s up to you to decide. We are excited to see what you will find!
Catagories:
- Youth- 15 and below
- Adult- 16 and up
- Veteran- all US military veterans
Rules:
- Photos must be taken during Liberty Days 2025
- Photos must show some part of the Liberty Days events
- Any photos digitally altered beyond basic editing or photos with watermarks will not be accepted
- No part of the photo can be created or removed by artificial intelligence (AI) If evidence of any use of AI is found, you will be automatically disqualified
- By submitting your photo to the contest, you grant the Stars and Stripes Museum and Library full rights to use the image for any purpose they choose. This may include publishing it online, printing it, displaying it publicaly, and other uses.
Submission Requirements:
- This contest is for amateur photographers only
- Up to three (3) photos can be entered per person
- The deadline to enter photos is October 19th
