Laura Dumey’s Visit to K-Town, Germany

During a brief trip, Laura Dumey, our Executive Director at the Stars and Stripes Museum and Library, had the opportunity to meet with the Stars and Stripes European team in Kaiserslautern (K-Town), Germany, where discussions centered on historical pieces like “How a Man Feels in Battle.” This compelling article, including “How a Man Feels in Battle,” captured significant attention during her visit.

Meeting Al Green

While in Germany, Laura met Al Green, the Community Relations Coordinator for the Stars and Stripes Europe facility. Al expressed a keen interest in the article “How a Man Feels in Battle,” published in the Thibodaux, Louisiana Stars and Stripes on March 11th, 1863.
