The Stars and Stripes Museum and Library Hosts Vets and Pets Day on Saturday, November 12, 2022
The Stars and Stripes Museum and Library invites you to stop by the museum for our Vets and Pets Day on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 10am to 2pm. This event is a fantastic opportunity to visit the museum and do your part in making this time of year special for others.
Guests will be able to make Christmas Cards for veterans that will go in the Christmas Stockings the Wake Foundation sends out to Veteran Homes throughout the Midwest. Guests will also be able to create treat puzzles for animals at Southeast Missouri Pets in Cape. Southeast Missouri Pets will also have a few furry friends on-site that are available for adoption.
If crafting isn’t your style, then we will also be accepting donations for Southeast Missouri Pets and Toys for Tots. Anyone who donates to either of these causes will be entered into a drawing for a $75 Walmart Gift Card.
As always, this event is free to the public. We hope to see you there!

– Adoptable Pets on site from Southeast Missouri Pets in Cape

– New and Unwrapped Toys of Any Kind
